System Administrator
Job Description:
As a system administrator, you will be entrusted with safeguarding our sensitive data, securing our network infrastructure, and protecting our hardware and software systems from potential threats, Additionally, your expertise will be essential in Identifying and mitigating any security breaches or leaks of confidential information.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage firewall configurations to ensure robust network security.
- Monitor firewall logs and traffic to identify and respond to any suspicious activities or intrusion attempts.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain secure hardware and software infrastructure.
- Propose and implement security measures to ensure confidentiality across all systems and processes.
- Investigate the root cause of security incidents and provide detailed reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data protection.
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to prevent security breaches.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners.
