Procurement Lead
Job Description:
We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Lead to oversee procurement operations for ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing equipment, goods, and services, and managing vendors. The successful applicant will be adept at managing, skilled in negotiating contracts, and committed to strategic sourcing of essential products and services at a competitive price.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
- Prepare comparative statements, Perform cost & scenario analysis and benchmarking.
- Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Determine quantity and SLAs of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of Work experience as a Procurement Lead or Associate.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Proven negotiations and networking skills.
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management best practices.
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
- Experience in collecting and analysing data. Excellent in Microsoft Excel
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
